Land clearing, driveways, building pads and grading out of Altoona, on the edge of the Ocala National Forest. I am Dusty Tyer. I answer the phone, I walk your property, and I run the machine. When your job needs fill, limerock or millings, I bring that too.
Small jobs, straight answers, and a price that holds. Call or text and you get me, or a callback the same day. Reading this at ten at night? Send it over and I will call you first thing in the morning.
Seven services
Nine job names collapsed into seven pages, because grading, pads and most excavating are the same machine on the same afternoon. What the customer calls it decides which page it lives on.
Palmetto, scrub, brush and stumps taken off and grubbed out, from a fence line to ten acres.
See land clearing →
Limerock and millings drives built, crowned, culverted and rolled, or an old one brought back.
See driveways →
House, barn, shop and shed pads cut, filled and compacted to grade, shot with a laser.
See building pads →
Swales, inlets and finish grading, so the water leaves your yard instead of sitting in it.
See grading and drainage →Trenches, culverts, ponds, footers, stumps and small demolition, with the spoil hauled off.
See excavating →Driveway aprons, inlet pads, culvert headwalls and slabs for sheds and equipment.
See concrete →Brush piles, clearing debris and downed trees loaded out, before the next storm or after one.
See debris removal →Not on the list?
Half the calls I get do not match any of these headings. Describe the ground and I will tell you which one it is, or that you want somebody else.

Most excavating outfits make you find your own material and wait on somebody else's truck. Most material yards will put a pile in your yard and drive off. I do both ends, which means the fill and the machine show up the same morning and somebody is there to spread it.
| Material | Per yard | Per load |
|---|---|---|
| Regular fill dirt | — | — |
| Sand clay | — | — |
| Screened topsoil | — | — |
| Asphalt millings | — | — |
| Crushed limerock | — | — |

Two columns, because the homeowner buying three yards and the builder buying a full load are shopping in different units. Publishing both is what makes the volume discount visible without arithmetic. Zero of the twelve Lake County competitors publish either one.

The whole company
I am Dusty Tyer. I have been moving dirt in Central Florida for a little over twenty years.
There is no salesman here who quotes your job and a crew that turns up three weeks later wondering what got promised. The person who answers the phone is the person who walks your property, writes the number, and runs the machine. If your job is not a good fit for me I will tell you that on the phone instead of wasting your week.
Evidence, not decoration
Drag the slider to see the same ground before and after. Every pair gets a town, a month and one hard number, because an uncaptioned gallery is decoration and a captioned one is proof.
Before
After
Component demonstration. The interaction is real; the pairing is not. True before-and-after pairs have to be shot from one spot on one job, and none exist yet. This is the single easiest photograph for Dusty to start taking on Monday.
Past jobs
Every photo is a real job, captioned with the town and what it is. No stock, no rendering, no borrowed pictures of somebody else's machine.

Four steps, in order
Tell me the town, what you are trying to do with the property, and roughly how big. Photos help more than a description: one from the road, a couple from inside, and something in frame for scale.
Free, on site, and there is no pressure at the end of it. I will tell you what the ground actually needs, which is not always what you called about.
Fixed scope. That number holds unless you change what you are asking for. No day rate clock running while you wonder what it is up to.
Then I walk the finished ground with you before I call it done.
Anchored in Altoona
I am based in Altoona and most of my work is inside about a half hour of the yard. Lake County first, then Marion and Volusia when the project fits.
Altoona, Umatilla, Paisley, Astor, Pittman, Eustis, Mount Dora, Tavares, Sorrento, Leesburg
Weirsdale, Ocklawaha, Silver Springs
DeLand, Pierson, Barberville, Deltona
Further out than that, call anyway. I will tell you straight whether it makes sense to put the trailer on the road for it.
Launch state
There are no reviews yet, so this section is empty on purpose. No widget, no stars with nothing behind them, no "reviews coming soon." Four of the eleven live competitors in this county are shipping visible placeholder review text right now, and not doing that is the cheapest advantage on the whole site.
If I did the job right, a couple of sentences on Google helps the next person out here find somebody local instead of a phone number from three counties away. It takes a minute and it matters more to a one man outfit than most people realize.
